Francine Paston, M.D., F.A.A.P.

Dr. Paston is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and has been in private practice in Colorado since 1996. She earned her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed her Pediatric Residency at Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Paston also completed a one year postgraduate Fellowship in Pediatric Pulmonology at the Babies and Children Hospital at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York.

Dr. Paston is very active in volunteer work both locally and internationally. In the past she volunteered at the Good Samaritan Homeless Shelter Pediatric Clinic in Denver. Dr. Paston has traveled to the Philippines 3 times working for Uplift International, an organization dedicated to cleft palate surgery. She is currently a volunteer for the Human Rights Clinic.

Dr. Paston’s areas of interest include educating her patients about nutrition, exercise and living healthy lifestyles.

Daniel Schloegel, M.D., F.A.A.P.

Dr. Schloegel earned his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin Medical School in 1999 and completed his Pediatric Residency at Jacobi Hospital-Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 2002. Dr. Schloegel is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Schloegel believes prevention is paramount in children and adolescents. His areas of focus are obesity related problems, asthma and growth and puberty issues. He is certified in Neonatal Resuscitation and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.

Dr. Schloegel practiced in Oregon from 2002-2005 and joined Green Mountain Pediatrics in July of 2006.

Leanne Wellbrock, C.P.N.P.

Leanne is a Colorado native. She spent three years of her undergraduate education at the University of Hawaii, and completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Colorado. She worked 5 years as a pediatric nurse before deciding to return to school for her Master of Science and is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.

Leanne has always been fond of children and worked as a nanny for many years while attending college. She loves spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephew. Her favorite hobbies are traveling, scuba diving, snorkeling, reading, watching movies, and hanging out with her dog, Ziggy.

Audrei Davidson, C.P.N.P.

Audrei Davidson grew up in Texas and later moved to the Philadelphia area to attend Villanova University and earn her nursing degree. She spent several years working as a pediatric ICU nurse, which is where she realized her desire to prevent children from becoming hospitalized and chose to focus on primary care. Audrei completed her Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania and is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.

Audrei loves working with children and their families, as her entire career has been in pediatrics. She recently moved to Colorado to be closer to friends and all the outdoor activities the state has to offer. In her free time she enjoys reading, going on hikes, and camping with her husband and two dogs.

Carol Von Michaelis, P.A.

Carol von Michaelis has been a valued provider at Green Mountain Pediatrics for many years and continues to work at the practice as her schedule allows. Carol earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of North Dakota, her nursing degree from Regis University, and her PhD from Walden University. She has been a certified Physician Assistant since 2008, working primarily in pediatrics. She has a passion for preventative medicine, promoting healthy families, and supporting mental health wellness. She has lived in Colorado since she was 4 years old. Carol enjoys the outdoors, art and runs a small community farm with a lot of different animals.
